The City Council may from time to time choose to establish an ad hoc committee to provide Council support and participation in addressing specific issues facing the City. An ad hoc committee will be dissolved once its specific task has been completed.
The purpose of the Financing Civic Infrastructure Task Force is to review and analyze the financing options for the possible construction of new or remodeled civic institutions in St. Helena as well as other infrastructure, such as storm drains and downtown streetscape, and to provide recommendations to the City Council.
The City Council is planning to conduct a Facilities Condition and Needs Assessment (FCNA) to document and analyze the City's existing built facilities to assist the City with prioritizing capital improvements.
The City Council appoints the Water Advisory Board. By ordinance it consists of one member of the City Council, one member of the Planning Commission, one winery customer, and two public members, one of whom shall be solely a residential customer.
The Water and Wastewater Rate Study Customer Advisory Committee consists of representative group of stakeholders from the community appointed to provide comments and advice on the elements of the study and resulting rate structure.
